Preheat the oven on the "broil setting".
Cut each grapefruit in half.
Run a knife around the edge of each grapefruit, between the fruit and the rind.
Slice on either side of each grapefruit section to separate it from the membranes.
Sprinkle each grapefruit half with 1/4 tsp of coconut sugar.
Place each grapefruit half on a sheet tray, cut side facing up and broil until the sugar has melted, about 3-5 minutes. Every oven is different, so make sure you watch to avoid burning!
Add your favorite toppings (I did fresh mint, cinnamon, coconut flakes, and a honey drizzle) and enjoy!
